Leland begins by talking about how he and elder Barbara were living in sleepy hollow lane. They were actually residing along a sloppy base and he explains how it was hard going up and down the hill due to the snow. He says they had some good experiences over there.
As the episode wears on, he remembers when he was getting referrals at a world fair and talks of a certain memorable moment, when he got to meet up with Richard L. Evans and cracked up a joke with him about how he thought Richard was an old man, just because he looked much younger at the time they met.
Due to the spiritual tone and spirit that Richard brought in the choir, Leland confesses how much he enjoyed listening to the tabernacle choir.
He then tells about when he was needed to work in the film and he had never done that before. So, he went into the film and read the new dialogue. Barney did pretty well overall. It went noticed by Richard, who later on approached him to tell him that he had done a fantastic job in the role that played. Even though he had never done so before.
